He Is Legend at the Manchester Hall

North Carolina based band, He is Legend, recently came out of hiatus to tour as a supporting act with The Damned Things and Crobot.  They recently made a stop at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, Kentucky to promote their highly anticipated sixth studio album, White Bat.
Fans lined up early for the show, chattering with excitement about the band’s long awaited return.  Although He is Legend was technically billed as a supporting act for this show, it was clear that the majority of concert goers were looking forward to their performance most of all.  It’s easy to understand fans’ elation after having experienced their live spectacle.
Opening up with their first single off the new album, also titled White Bat, the band’s energy was palpable from the very first notes of the show.  With its chaotic drums, heavy riffs, and horror punk vibes, White Bat was the perfect song to get fans moving and banging heads.  Lead singer Schuylar Croom worked the crowd, even striking a bat-like posture at one point during the act.
The setlist was brief with only eight songs, but this didn’t seem to phase the crowd.  Fans moshed and jumped to classics like The Seduction, Everyone I Know has Fangs, and I am Hollywood.
Following the show, members of the band, including Croom and lead guitarist Adam Tanbouz, mingled with fans, took pictures, and signed autographs.
He is Legend is preparing to embark on a headlining tour in June to promote their latest album.  The tour will kick off with a celebratory show in Wilmington, North Carolina on the 28th, the same day White Bat drops.  Additional tour dates and the music videos for White Batand their latest single, Boogiewoman, can be found below.
