THETAN: Cvlt Nation Streams Abysmal LP; New Album From Nashville Powerviolence Duo Out Friday Via Anti-Corporate Music

Cvlt Nation is streaming Abysmal, the violent second full-length from Nashville, Tennessee-based hardcore/powerviolence duo, THETAN, days ahead of its release this Friday through Anti-Corporate Music.

Ending a four-year release hiatus in releasing recorded material, THETAN delivers Abysmal, continuing their legacy of creating point-blank, depressive, powerviolent hardcore. The album deploys eighteen pulverizing tracks in just as many minutes, an intense offering which sees the band simultaneously exploring new territory with more nuanced stylings, though never straying from the pulverizing delivery that they have adopted for the past years. Recorded by Eliott Virula., Abysmal was mastered by the band’s Dan Emery through his own Black Matter Mastering (Buzzov*en, Kool Keith, Dwarves, Krieg). Fully complimenting the sonic chaos, the LP version features animated vinyl etchings the company has provided for such artists as the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Dälek, and others.

With their advance stream of Abysmal, Cvlt Nation declares, “…Abysmal is a huge can of audio whoop ass that will whip you into a frenzy! Damn, this Nashville duo have brought the goods once again with their short, powerful songs that are not for the weak of heart.”

THETAN declares, “Abysmal is the culmination of years of kicks in the head and missed therapy sessions. The lyrical themes are an unfortunate glimpse into the disrupted human mind. A psychological bloodletting. The musical accompaniment is the manifestation of a life of manic episodes and oppressive guilt and shame. This album represents the ugliness in all humans, except for us, we’re fine as hell.”

Abysmal will see release on digital and animated-etched LP on February 1st via Anti-Corporate Music. Find preorders at the label webshop HERE and at Bandcamp HERE.

THETAN has booked a hometown release show for Abysmal, the gig secured at DRKMTTR in Nashville for February 15th. Watch for more widespread touring to be announced shortly.

THETAN was spawned from the remnants of Nashville hardcore band Sanctions in 2011. Opting to forgo finding a new guitar player, and move forward as a two-piece, they recorded their first EP, Welcome To Whine Country, a mere three months after their first band practice. Since then, the outfit has released an LP titled Laughed At By The Gods, five split releases including splits with Bleed The Pigs, Bible Thumper, and others, as well as several singles, compilation tracks, and more preceding their new LP, Abysmal. Fans of Nails, Weekend Nachos, Dead In The Dirt, Hatred Surge, Die Choking, and the like should investigate the blasting ways of Abysmal.

In a review of their New York City performance at Brooklyn Bazaar last year, Rolling Stone crowns EYEHATEGOD, “one of America’s great live bands,” further and accurately elaborating, “There are certain bands who are very good at playing heavy rock or metal music. They’re tight, intense, professional; they project just the right air of macho authority. You might catch them in a club, nod your head and shoot ‘not bad’ looks to your friends during their set, and spring for a T-shirt at the merch table afterward. Then there are other bands, a very small handful, who, through some alchemical combination of execution and attitude, transcend their subgenre completely and connect with the primal root of rock & roll, offering showgoers a hint of that sacred, ‘What in the fuck is happening right now?’ wildness that’s been the hallmark of great American artists from Howlin’ Wolf to Jerry Lee Lewis and the Stooges. EYEHATEGOD are one of these bands.”

Mixed by David Castillo, mastered by Ted Jensen, and produced once again by Mark Lewis (
Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder), WHITECHAPEL‘s upcoming The Valley full-length is a reference to the part of Hardin Valley (west of Knoxville, Tennessee) where vocalist Phil Bozeman grew up. Set against this backdrop, he approaches his subject matter unflinchingly, building upon everything that came before, making it clear that he has survived that which he was forced to endure and is not afraid to confront it. “Phil has been upfront in his lyrics in the past about hardships he endured in his life as a child, and I believe with this record we tried to paint a better picture of that,” says guitarist Alex Wade. “I feel our music is Phil’s release from his past, being able to get it out and speak about it, and hopefully anyone who hears it that may have gone through similar experiences can find some release in it as well.”

Tickets are available NOW at THIS LOCATION.

Tankcrimes Takeover:
2/02/2019 Oakland Metro – Oakland, CA [info]

GHOUL  Creepsylvania’s favorite masked miscreants released their Dungeon Bastards studio offering in 2016. Standing as Tankcrimes’ first-ever charting record, Dungeon Bastards infectious splatterthrashconsumed Billboard Charts upon its first week of release debuting at #11 on the Heatseekers Chart, #13 on the Top Vinyl Albums Chart, #13 on the Hard Rock Chart, and #27 on the Independent Albums Chart. Most recently, GHOUL united with Brooklyn-based MC/Uncle Howie Records owner, Ill Bill (Non Phixion, Heavy Metal Kings) with Goretex (Non Phixion), for a two-song split seven-inch.

NECROT – Bay Area death practitioners NECROT – founded by current and former members of Acephalix, Vastum, Saviours, Watch Them Die, Atrament, and more – released their critically-adored Blood Offerings full-length last year. Packed with killer riffs, thunderous blast beats and the death-defying leads of Saviours guitarist Sonny Reinhardt,” (Revolver), the record earned the #29 spot on Billboard’s Hard Rock Chart and #52 on Billboard’s New Artist Chart upon its first week of release in addition to earning year-end accolades from the likes of Decibel and Revolver magazines among so many others. The band’s appearance at this year’s Tankcrimes Takeover comes in advance of their spot on the eighth annual Decibel Magazine Tour featuring Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Immolation, and Blood Incantation.

BRAINOIL – The Oakland sludge alchemists in BRAINOIL – featuring current and past members of Deathgrave, Laudanum, Graves At Sea, Stormcrow, Grimple, and Watch Them Die, among others – released their long-awaited Singularity To Extinction LP last October. Captured at Earhammer Studios by bassist/vocalist Greg Wilkinson (Deathgrave, ex-Laudanum, ex-Graves At Sea) and mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright (Tragedy, Necrot) the record stands as BRAINOIL‘s fastest, crustiest, and most monolithic offering to date. “Describing Singularity To Extinction as misanthropic would be an understatement,” wrote Decibel Magazine, “abrasive guitar tones and vocals combined with glacially slow tempos put BRAINOIL‘s latest in the same league as Dystopia, Grief, and Noothgrush.”

KICKER  Featuring Pete the Roadie backed by members of Operation Ivy, Dystopia, and Neurosis, KICKER plays UK meets East Bay punk rock inspired by the output of Crass, Bluurg, Mystic, and early Dischord and SST releases. The band’s Pure Drivel full-length will see release next month with further details to be unveiled in the coming days.

MORTUOUS – Featuring past and present members of Exhumed, Repulsion, Necrot, and Atrament, MORTUOUS released their Through Wilderness debut last summer. Crowned, “…filthy death metal of the highest order…,” by Decibel, the record includes guest appearances by Chris Reifert and Danny Coralles of Autopsy, Derrel Houdashelt, formerly of Exhumed, and Teresa Wallace of Dreaming Dead, and comes swathed in the cover art of Marald Van Haasteren (Bolt Thrower, Baroness, Necrot).

CONNOISSEUR – Sludge punk/stoner violence trio CONNOISSEUR released their Over The Edge full-length via Tankcrimes in 2017. Boasting fourteen resin-coated burners, Over The Edge is twenty-four minutes of East Coast brutality combined with West Coast mentality, all rolled up with cosmic weed grown in outer space, delivered by an alien race known as The Doctors.

DEATHGRAVE – San Jose deathgrind/punk practitioners DEATHGRAVE – featuring members of Brainoil and Amber Asylum among others – unleashed their So Real, It’s Now full-length last year. Hailed by Decibel for being a, “kaleidoscopic and engrossing mix of traditional brutality and audacious weirdness,” the fourteen-track production was tracked at Earhammer Studiosby guitarist/renowned sound engineer Greg Wilkinson and will burn your ears clear off your face. Proclaimed Metal Wanderlust, “You can smell the bile, taste the puke, and love every second of it.”

LOS HUAYCOS  LOS HUAYCOS features ex-members of ’90s Peruvian outfits Asmereir and Metamorphosis with members of Experimental Dental School playing a raucous brand of psychedelic hardcore thrash punk. The word “huayco” comes from the Quechua, which means “depth/valley” and refers to landslides caused by torrential rains in the Andes. You will occasionally find these guys skating a curb in Oakland. LOS HUAYCOS will release their Savage Monstrosities full-length via Tankcrimes next month. Stand by for details.

PULCHRA MORTE: No Clean Singing Premieres “Shadows From The Cross” From Death/Doom Collective; Divina Autem Et Aniles Debut Nears Release Via Ceremonial Records

Divina Autem Et Aniles is the imminent debut full-length from death/doom collective PULCHRA
MORTE, featuring current and former members of Wolvhammer, Eulogy, Harkonin, Withered, and more.

In advance of its official unveiling next month, No Clean Singing is offering up an exclusive premiere of “Shadows From The Cross” issuing of the track: “‘Shadows From The Cross‘ is granite-heavy and gruesome, physically arresting and yet atmospheric – drenched in the sensations of pestilence and fleshly rot. With a mid-paced gait that seems to lurch, the track is anchored by an ominous, heavy riff and hard-slugging, rapidly rattling drum beats. Jagged guttural growls, which elevate into ghastly howls, lend fury and fearsomeness to this dark and deathly ode, which is further embellished by an eerie darting riff and by leads that flicker and also ooze misery. And on top of all that, the music proves to be chillingly memorable and insidiously addictive.”

Notes vocalist Jason Barron, “This song is an interesting one for me, lyrically. It’s really a story of both the godly abandonment of people, but also people abandoning and sacrificing their gods. People realizing their own divinity, no need for any other gods.”

“It’s one of the more organic songs on the record,” adds guitarist Jeff Breden. “The composition came very naturally. Things that were going on in my life at the time were channeled into the song very naturally. I love the flow on this one.”

Stream “Shadows From The Cross” exclusively at No Clean Singing at THIS LOCATION.

Check out PULCHRA MORTE’s previously released videos for “Thrown To The Wolves” at “Soulstench” at THIS LOCATION.

Divina Autem Et Aniles was captured by PULCHRA MORTE guitarist/renowned producer/engineer Jarrett Pritchard (1349, Goatwhore, Wolvhammer, Gruesome, Exhumed, Brutality, etc.) at his own New Constellation Studios in Orlando, Florida, mastered by Chris Common (Tribulation, Primordial, Exhumed, Gruesome), and features the vocal talents of former Eulogy co-conspirator Heather Dykstra and cellist Naarah Strokosch as well as additional backing vocals by Tor Stavenes, AKA Seidemann of 1349 and Svart Lotus. It all comes swathed in the striking cover art of Jordan Barlow (Goatwhore, Haarp, Psychon Vex).

Divina Autem Et Aniles will be released on February 1st on CD and digitally via Ceremonial Records and is available for licensing in various territories. For physical preorders visit the official PULCHRA MORTE bandcamp page at THIS LOCATION.

Additionally, PULCHRA MORTE’s limited-edition seven-inch single featuring “Soulstench” on Side A and a rendition of Paradise Lost’s “The Painless” on Side B is still available in three color variants HERE.

PULCHRA MORTE began with an idea to recapture a feeling that has become increasingly scarce in the dense landscape of extreme music today: the manifestation of songs containing weight, atmosphere, and feeling. Forged by drummer/backing vocalist Clayton Gore and vocalist Jason Barron, formerly of St. Louis staple Harkonin, with guitarist Jeffrey Breden in 2017, the trio began writing songs with the intention of recapturing the purpose of greats from the late-’80s through early-’90s doom-laden death metal scene, a point where feeling superseded technicality. During this process, Gore contacted long-time friend and cocreator, producer/engineer Jarrett Pritchard, the two of them enjoying a thirty-year friendship and collaboration from the days of the seminal Tampa, Florida-based death metal band Eulogy.

Joining forces, the band completed the recording of their debut album Divina Autem Et Aniles with Pritchard taking on bass and auxiliary guitar duties as well as producing and engineering the album. Full rehearsals took place in Chicago over the summer of 2018, with Dylan Kilgore of Withered being recruited to play bass while Pritchard moved to full-time guitar. Band intact, the rehearsals yielded excellent results, and from these sessions a proper video for first single “Soulstench” was generated. In its wake, PULCHRA MORTE unleashed a limited edition seven-inch of “Soulstench” with a beautiful tribute to Paradise Lost – a cover of Gothic classic “The Painless” – occupying its B-side as an exclusive.

PULCHRA MORTE is planning a number of appearances throughout 2019 in support of Divina Autem Et Aniles and are already hard at work on the follow-up album.

“Breaking from expectation’s mold, the quintet eschews fast and furious death metal for the sort of elegant doom/death first oozed out by the Peaceville three…” – Decibel

Thematically heavy on weird, supernatural horror and a bizarre Rudimentary Peni surrealism, ULTHARis a difficult to classify spectral entity.

Over the course of Cosmovore‘s forty-minute run time, speeds careen forward at primarily unrelenting velocity, the opening title track instantly battering with primal persistence. The album’s middle section, a blinding storm of ghastly black dread, leads into the thirteen-plus-minute closing epic “Dunwich Whore” where the ULTHAR universe becomes all-consuming with proggy synth bookends, vertiginous tempo variation, grinding technical violence, and thrashed madness.

Tying it all together is the gripping cover art of famed UK illustrator Ian Miller, known for his work with the Warhammer games, Lovecraft books, Ralph Bakshi films, and more.Yet another stellar debut album released under the 20 Buck Spin banner, ULTHAR‘s Cosmovore stands as the monstrous opening salvo of a band only beginning to wage war. Fans of Absu, Immortal, early Atrocity, early Pestilence, Demilich, Morbid Angel, Gorguts, and labelmates Tomb Mold should tune in to ULTHAR‘s deft execution.

“Lermo weaves evil, inverted riffs that create an unsettling atmosphere but ultimately bludgeon the listener; the rhythm section shores up the heaviest parts of ‘Asymmetric Warfare’ and Lermo and bassist/vocalist Steve Peacock shriek and growl with rage.” – Decibel on “Asymmetric”

“Collectively, they possess a uniquely deadly skillset that’s firmly based in the annals of smudged, knotty blackened death (deathened black, if you’re nasty) — which they put to surgically sharp use on Cosmovore.” – Bandcamp Album Of The Day

“…enigmatic and intense…awe-inspiring… one of the strongest offerings of the year from a band that is just finding its legs. – Metal Utopia

“…a dizzying monolith of heaviness.” – Spill Magazine

“…a dark, nasty, yet gloriously vicious album.” – Ghost Cult

“When it comes to the art of defense and all the myriad of intricacies and patience needed for successful aggression, ULTHAR represent an elite class of professional. Through chaos and tension does patience reign. Through dissonance and contradiction are the battles of blackened death metal won. And, when the battle clears and the last cauldron of steaming molten metal is poured, there will stand ULTHAR upon the parapets waving blood encrusted flags of victory.” – Last Rites

“Purebreds are overrated. Cosmovore is the mutt you want. Sure, it’s gonna shit all over your floor and tear up the curtains, but would you rather be prancing around the dog show with the rest of the yuppies? Get a good kennel, cuz ULTHAR are coming home with you.” – Metal Trenches

“Some of the most grotesquely intense blackened death metal…  incredibly unsettling. Fantastic stuff!” – Nattskog

“The chaos is spread thick on these tracks, and the sense of dread is impossible to shake. This has been a banner year for death metal, and ULTHAR are making their case for being one of the bloodiest new entrants into the skull-destroying terrain.” – Meat Mead Metal

LIGHT THIS CITY To Tour Mexico For The First Time This Winter; Multiple Playthrough Videos For Terminal Bloom LP Posted

Bay Area melodic death metal outfit LIGHT THIS CITY has confirmed a new set of tour dates in support of their acclaimed Terminal Bloom LP, released last year through Creator-Destructor Records. The new venture sees the band headed to Mexico for the first time, with four shows booked throughout the country on Gira Por México 2019.

Terminal Bloom, LIGHT THIS CITY‘s first album in a decade, boasts ten tracks that capture their tendency towards extreme melody and intensity, honoring the Swedish sounds of the ’90s. Having spent the past decade performing and touring in numerous other bands, the five members of LIGHT THIS CITY have only honed and shaped their skills and musicianship since their 2008-released Stormchaser. Terminal Bloom was recorded from December 2017 through February 2018 with Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Fallujah) at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, California, as with their previous four albums, and is wrapped in the vibrant cover artwork of Tony Midi.

LIGHT THIS CITY now takes their tunes to Mexico for the first time this Winter. From January 31st through February 3rd the band will play across the country on the Gira Por México 2019 tour, with shows in Morelia, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí, and Mexico City.

The members of LIGHT THIS CITY declare, “Mexico! We are SO thrilled to announce our first ever Mexico Tour! And it’s just three weeks away! Spread the word, let’s do this!”

LIGHT THIS CITY Gira Por México 2019:
1/31/2019 Cactux Morelia – Morelia, MX
2/01/2019 Anexo Independencia – Guadalajara, MX
2/02/2019 Loud Open Stage – San Luis Potosí, MX
2/03/2019 Real Under – Mexico City, MX

LIGHT THIS CITY has also posted a slew of new drum and guitar playthrough videos for the album. Watch guitarists Ryan Hansen and Steve Hoffman shred through “A Grotesque Reflection,” “Neverlanding,” and “Dormant Tide,” and see Ben Murray deploy “Reality in Disarray,” “A Grotesque Reflection,” “Neverlanding,” and “Dormant Tide.”

Exclaim! Magazine’s Terminal Bloom review included, “The idea of a band coming back from hiatus after so long can be daunting, but LIGHT THIS CITY have returned with more energy than when they left. Terminal Bloom is the record fans of the band have been waiting so long to hear and the ideal situation for a re-emerging artist.” Revolver Magazine offered, “Having spent the past ten years recording and touring with various side projects… the death-dealers have no time for playing catch-up; instead, the five-piece get right to the melodic, riff-filled goodness we’ve been craving since ’08.” Metal Injection stated, “I was surprised to find that LIGHT THIS CITY have a more varied sound than ever. I worry some will write this band off for their time in the early 2000’s metalcore scene, but this album is waaaaaaaaay more than that.” Bravewords proclaimed, “Channeling the best Sweden has to offer, specifically a whole lot of Arch Enemy with a healthy dose of At The Gates and The Haunted, along with a sprinkling of UK greatness a la Carcass, into a vicious American assault, LIGHT THIS CITYunleash a serious shit-kicking with these ten new tracks. There aren’t enough accolades to bestow upon vocalist Laura Nichol; she’s commanding, ferocious, intense, profound. And her band deserves just as much respect!”

SIGNO ROJO: Swedish Hardcore/Sludge Act To Release End Of Tether EP In February As Band Celebrates 10th Anniversary; Trailer Posted

Swedish hardcore punk/sludge metal hybrid SIGNO ROJO is preparing to self-release a newly-recorded EP, End Of Tether, in mid-February, the first of several releases planned for the year as the band celebrates their 10th anniversary. The track listing, cover artwork, and a brief trailer for the new EP has been issued this week.

Formed in Karlshamn in 2009, SIGNO ROJO has been afflicting the world with their unique brand of abrasive, loud, and beautiful music for a decade now. The band continues the Swedish tradition of bold and inventive extreme music, their songs constructed on a foundation of hardcore punk and flooded with sludge-laden riffs and amplification. Following their celebrated, 2017-released Svårfödd album, SIGNO ROJO comes forth with some of their most forceful songs yet on their latest EP, End Of Tether.

SIGNO ROJO‘s densely-packed End Of Tether boasts three thundering tracks totaling more than fourteen minutes. With downtuned riffs layered upon percussive tempos ranging from mid-paced rampages to bottom-dredging slow-motion, the band infuses multiple vocal styles into the songs, offering an empowering and infectious blend of styles. Written, recorded, and produced by the band at Evil-Looking Doorstop Studios, End Of Tether was mixed by Ola Bäckström, mastered by Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen, and completed with artwork by Jonas Nilsson, embossed by Basse. The EP features backing vocals by the Bodekull death choir – Johan Toresson, Marcus Österberg Johansson, Ola Bäckström, and Sebastian Einarsson – and guest lead guitar on the title track by Magnus Ölander. Fans of Neurosis, High On Fire, Entombed, Coliseum, Seven Sisters Of Sleep, Martyrdod, Kylesa, Black Tusk, and similar acts should not miss this.

Wrote Decibel Magazine of the record, “If extreme metal is [drummer Pete] Sandoval’s ministry, Caustic Attack is the sort of triumph that’ll have you taking a look at that higher power.” Rolling Stone gushed, “Blastbeat expert Pete ‘Commando’ Sandoval shows why he still excels at the style he helped to perfect…” Metal Injection concurred, “Caustic Attack…is everything devastating you’ve ever loved about TERRORIZER and then some.”

Before Pete Sandoval recorded Morbid Angel‘s first album, 1989’s Altars Of Madness, he performed on two demos and a split album with his original band TERRORIZER. Today, the group’s 1989 full-length debut World Downfall is still considered a pinnacle for death metal and grindcore, featuring impossibly fast blastbeats and double-bass drumming along with a blitzkrieg attack by late guitarist Jesse Pintado(Napalm Death), and ex-vocalist Oscar Garcia (Nausea). The 1989 lineup was rounded out by Sandoval and then-fellow Morbid Angel bandmate David Vincent on bass.

Over the next twenty-three years, Sandoval took time between Morbid Angel albums to continue working with TERRORIZER, recording two more cataclysmic full-lengths, 2006’s Darker Days Ahead and 2012’s Hordes Of Zombies. And now, another six years down the burning highway, TERRORIZERis back with Caustic Attack, their heaviest and most eclectic album to date.

TERRORIZER started working on Caustic Attack in 2014, but before they could lay down a single bar of music, Sandoval had to make sure he was healthy enough to work on a new album – which was far from a sure thing. Rewind to 2009 when Sandoval’s suffered a severe back injury caused by decades of Olympic-class death metal drumming. After seeing different doctors and exploring his options, Sandoval opted for invasive surgery to repair the deteriorated discs between interlocking vertebrae in his spine.

By 2013, Sandoval was feeling pretty good, so he got together with multi-instrumentalist Lee Harrison, who played on Malevolent Creation‘s 1989 demo a year before giving birth to metal veterans Monstrosity, which have released five full-length albums to date. In 2007, Harrison joined up with fabled Crimson Glory singer, Midnight, with whom he worked until the vocalist died in 2009. Harrison has also played guitar with Obituary on tour in South America in 2012. Now, he’s deadly serious about his role in TERRORIZER, but at first playing with Sandoval was more like a hobby.

Feeling confident and comfortable again behind the kit, Sandoval invited Sam Molina, who played with Harrison in Monstrosity, to join them on bass, and the trio started working on songs for Caustic Attack. A violently explosive album for increasingly turbulent times, Caustic Attack is the sound of a world nearing apocalypse. The songs conjure images of warplanes on bombing runs, giant tanks obliterating small villages and the endless rattle of machine guns mowing down everyone in sight.

Sandoval has long been known as one of the fastest players in death metal – the pioneer of blastbeats – and he doesn’t hold back on Caustic Attack. At the same time, even the fastest songs are tighter and more precise than TERRORIZER have ever been thanks to veteran producer Jason Suecof, who’s painstaking method of recording showcases Sandoval and his team at peak capacity.

The proof is in the pummeling. There are flesh-shredding grindfests like “Turbulence,” “Caustic Attack,” and “Poison Gas Tsunami,” each of which swoops down, destroys, and depart in under-two-minutes. Then, there are the nearly five-minute-long tracks, including “Infiltration” – which slows to a thunderous breakdown before ramping back up to hyper-speed -and “Wasteland,” a global conflagration with undeniable guitar hooks and a lethal mid-song chug that reveals previously unexplored diversity and depth.

“If extreme metal is Sandoval’s ministry, Caustic Attack is the sort of triumph that’ll have you taking a look at that higher power.” – Decibel

“Blast-beat expert Pete ‘Commando’ Sandoval shows why he still excels at the style he helped to perfect…” – Rolling Stone on Caustic Attack’s title track

“If you’ve ever accidentally spilled anything super-acidic on yourself, it’s not hard to imagine ‘Invasion’ as the panicked soundtrack to searing flesh. The band ain’t called ‘TERRORIZER‘ for nothing.” – MetalSucks on “Invasion”

“…a minute-long onslaught of blasting fury and muscular staccato riffs….” – Revolver on Caustic Attack’s title track

“Caustic Attack…is everything devastating you’ve ever loved about TERRORIZER and then some.” – Metal Injection

“…a fine offering that few will match for its savagery.” – Overdrive Magazine

“…this album rips from start to finish.” – No Clean Singing
