Ghost Cult is pleased to unveil the striking visual accompaniment to “Bombardier” from Australian post-metal/sludge practitioners, LO!. Directed by Will Robertson, the clip was shot on location in Japan earlier this year and comes by way of the band’s Vestigial full-length released in 2017 via Pelagic Records.
“Obviously, it’s a bit of a different clip for us,” notes bassist Adrian Shapiro, “as it’s more of an ambient track but could quite possibly be one of the most intense clips we’ve made. All the footage was shot on our tour of Japan earlier this year by a filmmaker Will Robertson who accompanied us on the tour. It’s a very intense journey of our live performances with the travel and people and scenarios we encountered on the tour. The track is powerfully somber, and I think shows the ferocity and rawness of a LO! live performance.

LO!‘s third full-length album, Vestigial, is truly next level. The songs are well-crafted and have a larger scope than their predecessors, the sound is heavy yet organic, there is a greater harmonic density behind their stupefyingly heavy riffs and they simply sound tighter than ever before. These are anthems for a maddening world run by monsters of our own making.
